This is ADUA

ADUA Coin is an idea, a project, a hope that the losses we have had, the addiction, the recovery, the sobriety is all functioning on old outdated models. We need to improve our approaches, drastically change the status quo and state agencies to a version created by people.

People who have lived it. And instead of restricting people who are ex-addicts from being counselors, we should—if anything—be leaning on them. When the majority of counselors are people who have never had an addiction, that's society accepting something that just doesn't make sense.

Then if you step back further, the state agencies are simply operating on a money-first, people-last setup. It's literally good for them if we never get better. Their product never runs out. They can fill scripts, fill rooms with addicts, dictate our lives with a cup. This is not any one person or group—it's a system.

I have seen both sides. The recovery and counseling world was so corrupt it made me question it all. The focus on money was so immense, so absolute, I felt I was actually the ethical person. They kept drilling it in my head in the program to become accredited. Yet I witnessed the least amount of ethical behavior I have ever seen.

We need to go to a DeFi version of recovery and that whole system. This is a project that I hope will grow, and I am expanding the team as you read this.
