Create Your Wallet
Choose "Create a new wallet"
After installing MetaMask, you'll need to create a new wallet. This generates a unique address where you can receive and store your ADUA tokens.
Open the extension from your browser toolbar
Don't choose "Import" unless you have an existing wallet
Use at least 8 characters with numbers and symbols
Read and accept MetaMask's terms of use
Backup Your Recovery Phrase
MetaMask will show you a 12-word recovery phrase (also called a "seed phrase"). This is like a master key to your wallet. Anyone with this phrase can access your funds.
Use pen and paper, in the exact order shown
Keep it in a safe place, away from computers and phones
MetaMask will ask you to confirm some words
No legitimate service will ever ask for your recovery phrase

Add ETH to Your Wallet
To purchase ADUA tokens, you first need Ethereum (ETH) in your wallet. ETH is used both to buy ADUA and to pay for transaction fees (called "gas") on the Ethereum network.
Option 1: Buy with Card
Purchase ETH directly in MetaMask using a debit/credit card or bank transfer.
- Click "Buy" in MetaMask
- Choose a provider (Moonpay, Transak, etc.)
- Complete KYC verification
- Purchase ETH (minimum ~$50)

Option 2: Transfer from Exchange
If you already own ETH on an exchange (Coinbase, Binance, etc.), transfer it to your MetaMask wallet.
- Copy your MetaMask address
- Go to your exchange's withdrawal page
- Paste address and select Ethereum network
- Confirm and wait for transfer

Connect to Uniswap
Uniswap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) where you can swap ETH for ADUA tokens. Unlike traditional exchanges, you maintain full control of your funds throughout the process.
Go to app.uniswap.org (verify the URL carefully)

Choose MetaMask from the wallet options
MetaMask will ask you to confirm the connection

Swap ETH for ADUA
Now you're ready to exchange your ETH for ADUA tokens. This is the final step in your purchase.
Select tokens
In the "From" field, select ETH. In the "To" field, search for ADUA using the contract address or token name. If ADUA doesn't appear, you may need to import it using the contract address.
Enter amount
Enter how much ETH you want to swap. Uniswap will automatically calculate how many ADUA tokens you'll receive. Leave some ETH for future gas fees (at least $20-30 worth).
Review and confirm
Click "Swap" and review the transaction details. You'll see the estimated gas fee and final amount of ADUA you'll receive. If everything looks correct, click "Confirm Swap".
Approve in MetaMask
MetaMask will pop up asking you to confirm the transaction. Review the gas fee one more time, then click "Confirm". The swap typically completes in 15-60 seconds depending on network congestion.

Import ADUA token to MetaMask
If ADUA tokens don't automatically appear in your MetaMask wallet after the swap, you can manually add them using the token contract address.

What if the gas fees are too high?
Gas fees fluctuate based on Ethereum network congestion. Check gas prices at ethgasstation.info and try transacting during off-peak hours (typically late night/early morning EST) for lower fees.
How long does the swap take?
Most swaps complete in 15-60 seconds. If your transaction is pending for more than 10 minutes, check Etherscan using your transaction hash. You may need to speed up the transaction by paying a higher gas fee.
Can I use a different wallet besides MetaMask?
Yes! ADUA works with any Ethereum-compatible wallet including Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and hardware wallets like Ledger or Trezor. The process is similar to the MetaMask instructions above.
What's the minimum amount I can buy?
There's no technical minimum, but we recommend purchasing at least $50-100 worth to make the gas fees worthwhile. Smaller purchases may result in gas fees eating up a significant portion of your investment.
Is my ADUA safe in MetaMask?
Yes, as long as you keep your recovery phrase secure and never share it with anyone. MetaMask is a non-custodial wallet, meaning you have full control of your tokens. The ADUA team cannot access or freeze your funds.
